When you get off the elevator at this rooftop bar, it feels like you’ve been transported to Vegas (except with beautiful Marin scenery). It is just so unlike most other bars in Marin. During summer, I’d recommend waiting close to sunset, once the sun dips behind the mountains.

I heard about this camp recently, sounds fun. Gumbo dinner at 6:30, show at 7:30. $55.

Kids can climb aboard their favorite trucks, heavy machinery, and emergency vehicles. 4-7, free.

A Colombian-themed party at the awesome Bungalow Kitchen. Free entry, but have to RSVP for a spot. 8:30-midnight.

The band is Bermudagrass Triangle and food includes BBQ chicken. 6:30-8, free.

Saturday, July 19

This is at the cool Lumber Yard if you want to walk around and see what’s for sale. Free 11-5.

Start in the Marin Headlands and choose a 24, 32, or 45 mile ride. Rest stops provided, plus a post-ride meal and party. $160.

I really want to make it to one of these. 3pm, free.

Live music, beer/wine garden, food, shave ice, kids zone, and more. 11-3, free for attendees (pay to enter your car).

This Friday Fort Mason hosts Off the Grid and West Coast Craft: food trucks and crafts in a beautiful spot 5-10pm. There is a Brewfest Saturday in the Presidio that benefits the national parks.
