Marin events and activities this weekend
This week is Easter, which means a ton of Saturday kids egg hunts and not a lot on Sunday. But there are a couple great events…

Flashlight Egg Hunts
There is one for ages 8 to 12 in San Anselmo at 8:15pm and another for ages 8 and up in Larkspur at 8:30pm.
If you love a good jam-band, this could be a great show for you. 8:30pm at Mac’s for $23.
Saturday, April 19
Egg Hunts
Corte Madera at 10am, Marinwood at 10am, Fairfax at 10am, Sausalito at 10:15am, Marin Country Mart at 10:30am, San Anselmo at 10:45am, and many more.
From 11-5 with live music, local craft shopping, and more.
The Lodge at Marconi is hosting a fun event with live music, kids, crafts, and local food. I didn’t know: 1) Guglielmo Marconi invented the radio and 2) his ties to Marin.
Enhance your birding skills with a professional naturalist. The workshop is $95 from 9-3:30.
This guy has some incredible nature stories like diving with a polar bear mother and cubs! Check out his TEDx talks and documentaries and I’m sure you’ll want to go to this. From 4-5:30 for $17 with an optional dinner to follow.

Calling all Trekkies! One of the Marin Buzz readers stars in this very unique idea: improvised episodes of Star Trek. At 7pm for $23.
You foodies are going to love this. 6-9pm for $175, which includes drinks plus both hands-on cooking and demonstration from the pros.
Sunday, April 20

If You Want a Trip Outside Marin
Saturday is Butter and Egg Days in Petaluma. The parade is at noon with many festivities to follow.
