Strength Feels Better When You Find Your People.

Founded by Marin personal trainer and mom of three Val Harbidge, FITLAB Strong is a locally and woman-owned fitness community built to help people feel stronger, more energized, and at home in their bodies. Across our Novato and Fairfax studios, we offer 70+ group classes each week, including TRX, Les Mills, indoor cycling, yoga, and functional strength training.

Whether you’re brand new or ready for your next challenge, our coaches will meet you where you are. Come find the movement, and the people, that keep you coming back. Explore our schedule and find your first class.

School is back! How are we feeling? For most of Marin, it just means a sudden increase in the number of cars on the road. Also, we are coming up on 1 year since the carpool times changed, how is that working out for everyone?

How I feel about the carpool hours:

On 9/8/25 they doubled the hours and put it in effect both directions. On 3/1/26 they adjusted to just a 44% increase on the original hours, but still both directions.

There’s a tiny building in Corte Madera, right on Corte Madera Ave heading toward Larkspur before it turns into Magnolia Ave. It used to house Burmatown, the Michelin rated Burmese restaurant that moved around the corner. For the last several years it has held Kito’s. Some people swear by it. Many have never been.

We posted about it on Instagram recently. Baja fish tacos. Carne asada California burrito (the kind with french fries inside). But I’m always learning tips from the comments. “Micheladas with a tamarind straw.” “Obsessed with their salad.” “Can’t get enough of their grilled shrimp tacos!” “Quesadilla is my absolute favorite.” “That’s me in the video!” I guess I’m going to go back often to try them all…
