Marin events and activities this weekend

We just crossed 3,000 Marin Buzzers, thanks for being a part of this growing movement! Next week, we’ll start regular posts on Instagram too, so give us a follow.

Happy Birthday: Kathleen Kostelec (give a shout out)

The thing about well-known gems is, they are often too crowded. But this might be the perfect weekend to check out or revisit The Junction — spring breakers are out of town and SF doesn’t show up in full-force until the summer. Great drinks, tasty pizza, and a pirate ship for kids to play on.

Chase (6 months) and Lucky (8) golden retrievers

If you’d like your pet to be considered for Pet of the Week, please fill this out!

Thursday, April 10

Bring your own gear from 10-1, but you’ll have a ranger show you where to go and what to do.

Friday, April 11

Learn from the best from 5:30-7:30 for $140.

A free 2 mile hike from 3-4.

Nothing like a dance party to meet someone new. From 7-11 and it’s cool to bring a friend who isn’t single. I’m currently seeing $1 tickets, which might be an error, so grab them quickly…

All Weekend Long

This is a free writers retreat Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9-5. Go one day or all three.

Saturday, April 12

From 9-1 with over 80 booths.

Chill acoustic music and a great view from 6-9. This sounds great, make a reservation now.

This kicks off dark sky week, so head out to West Marin to stargaze with astronomers from 6:30-9:30. $20 suggested donation.

A pay-what-you-can fundraiser for four local families that starts at 4.

Sunday, April 13

140 booths, you never know what you will find.
