What a packed Saturday, it was hard choosing my favorite eight events. Can I go to all of them?

Gravity Vault gym is welcoming grown-up beginners with staff-supported climbs and free gear rentals. 5-9pm, free.

This young bluegrass group debuted at the Grand Ole Opry and one member is a national flat pick guitar champion. Part of Rancho Nicasio's outdoor sunset series. Music at 7pm, $30.

Series still going: Jazz & Blues by the Bay in Sausalito, West End San Rafael Block Party

A Point Reyes tradition. There are kids, family, and adult divisions and only beach-found materials are allowed. Register at 9am, judging at noon, prizes at 3pm, free.

Our favorite DJ slash historian, Katiana, is back at Eria above the Trident playing Michael Jackson, Jackson 5, Jaafar Jackson and more. 11:30am-2:45pm, $20 with this discounted link.

At Creek Park for the Live on the Avenue series, they are showing A New Hope at 5pm and The Empire Strikes Back at 7:30pm. San Anselmo has so many ties to making these films, expect this to be a unique experience.

They are closing out this series at the Hamilton amphitheater with the band Club 90 playing dance music from the 1960s to today. 5-7pm, free.

Down the beautiful Magnolia Avenue. 4-7pm, $71 (kids are free, no wine of course). There’s also a free art & wine pop-up on the same block Thursday and Friday 5-8pm.

I’m embarrassed to admit, I didn’t know about this film. The greatest concert movie of all time, directed by Scorsese and released in 1978. About The Band’s farewell concert, nearby in SF, featuring Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Van Morrison, Neil Young, and many more. 7:30pm, $10 suggested donation.

This is the first time they are holding it, which means anything could happen. 10am-3pm. Free to attend ($30 per vehicle).

Five Marin-based DJs will play at No Name Bar from 8pm-midnight. Free.

Giants pitcher, 2014 World Series champion, Jake Peavy and his 3rd base coach Tim Flannery. Turns out they are quite the musicians and put on a fun show. Doors 4:30pm, show 6pm, $44.

It’s the final week for the summer concert series, closing it out with a very popular Marin band. 5-6:30pm, free.

This Berkeley songwriter is out with a new album. He’ll play with his band The Lemon Hammer for a special afternoon show at The Sweetwater. 1pm, $26.

There’s an intriguing estate sale in Mill Valley Friday and Saturday 10am to 3pm. Chanel, Saint Laurent, art, photography, vintage, and more.

Before Tartine, Chad Robertson and Elisabeth Prueitt had a small bakery in Point Reyes Station called Bay Village Bakery. They moved there in 1995 to study under oven-builder Alan Scott: room and board provided in exchange for ranch work. With Tartine’s recent return to Marin, I learned that the same location is still producing excellent bread for Brickmaiden Breads.

Celine Underwood bought the building in 2000 along with the wood-fired brick oven used by Chad and Liz (the oven was eventually replaced in 2015). They make 250 to 400 loaves a day, 48-hour ferment, California-grown organic grain, at 750-plus degrees. They have everyday loaves, like the Country White sourdough, then special day releases, like their California Grown 100% Whole Grain Wheat on Thursdays and Sundays.

You can also find them at the Thursday Civic Center Farmers Market and can place a pickup order.
