I did a recent video about Hilda’s in San Anselmo and what’s replacing it. It’s clear people love diners and miss them when they’re gone. So when someone sent me a video of this restaurant in Novato, I figured you might be interested in trying it out. I haven’t been yet, but want to check it out.
Why? It’s a diner, which is cool, but also has a train running around the whole restaurant!
The person who sent me the video said Sam’s is “a long time Novato favorite that just sold from one Sam to another.” What are the odds it would sell to another Sam? Or was that a requirement? Or did Sam #2 see Sam’s Place and think “that’s my place, I should own it”?
