There’s a new apparel company in Marin. In fact, they just launched on Sunday with free shipping to all Marin addresses. T-shirts, sweatshirts, and hats with locally inspired designs.
You might have seen the teaser on the Marin Buzz Instagram with my interview with the creator Lauren. I created a YouTube channel for Marin Buzz to post my full interview (we are up to 1 subscriber there, so we could use more if you are willing to help):

Pet of the Week is brought to you by: Tiburon Dog Butler, 415-413-6178 (now hiring a dog walker)
Cori at UC Davis
Did you know the UC Davis football team has a dog that retrieves the kicking tee? We went to the game on Saturday and were delighted to find out!
If you’d like your pet to be considered for Pet of the Week, please fill this out!

Wednesday, October 15
“To honour this anniversary, please join us under the big tent for live music and specialty bites, featuring a dedicated anniversary cheese crafted in partnership with Cowgirl Creamery.” I wish someone would dedicate me cheese for my anniversary. 11-2.
Hear from the man who revolutionized California Italian food with local hits Poggio (where I recently went for the first time) and Il Fornaio. Here’s a Marin Magazine feature about him. 6pm, free.
We had this last week as “get your tickets now,” but I guess there are tickets still left. Good deal at $45 paid in advance at an awesome venue with two drinks and light bites included. 5:30-8.
Friday, October 17
Watch a movie right on the ballfield in the middle of town. Food for purchase at 6, movie at 7. Free.
All Weekend Long
Friday and Saturday nights are both the Zeparella, an all-woman Zed Zeppelin cover band. Sunday is a kids Beatles Rock & Roll Playhouse.
YogaSix is opening in Bon Air and has free classes all weekend. There is also a grand opening party Saturday at noon with a DJ, raffle, and refreshments.
Saturday, October 18
This time the party is at Ounces Outdoors in Terra Linda. Noon to 8, with live music from MIDLIFE RIOT 2-5. Free entry.
“Get Sausy, Stay Salty!” Love the tagline and poster. The event is free, but you might enjoy a beer, wine, and spirits tasting wristband for $48. There’s dance lessons, Hot Wheels time trials, chalk drawings, and three music stages. 1-5.

Sunday, October 19
This is a walk and talk, I believe led by a Marin County Parks ranger. Learn about oak trees, acorns, and more. Free, 10-2.
The volunteer fire department is hosting an event with Smokey Bear, helicopter demonstrations, and more. 10-2, free.
Get Your Shop On
The Fine Estate Inc. auction has the usual impressive jewelry and watches, and also 2 foot tall Bronze French soldiers and those trendy 100 year-old French posters. The Picks and Treasures auction has some interesting stuff this weekend, including a red leather fanny pack.
Want a trip outside of Marin?
There’s the Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival where you can see a 2,346 pound pumpkin!
