CALL TO SCHEDULE YOUR FREE ESTIMATE: 415.453.3511

This is a commercial kitchen, led by a brother and sister team, that produces approximately 4000 cakes per day. They do a lot of wholesale, and also serve the public whether a single cheesecake or a tray of bite-sized ones for a fancy occasion. Their retail store is open Monday through Friday 8-3, but you can also order by phone or email. They also sell “seconds” (meaning not photogenic) at significant discounts, which is a great way to try new flavors.

Pet of the Week is brought to you by: Tiburon Dog Butler, 415-413-6178 (now hiring a dog walker)

Jax and Cody - a couple of rescue mutts that I dog walk for and they are an awesome representation of what adoption has to offer!

If you’d like your pet to be considered for Pet of the Week, please fill this out!

Friday, September 26

Is that a joke, surviving suburbia? I love the suburbs. This is at the beer garden in Terra Linda, Ounces Outdoors. 6:30, free.

Entrance includes a Bachata lesson (a slower-than-salsa dance emphasizing intimacy and hip movement. Right up my alley, can’t believe no one told me about it before this.). 7-11:30, $17.

I keep featuring all their events because it is such an awesome location and would be fun packed with people late into the night. This is a “homecoming” party, which sounds odd if you didn’t go to high school there, but I guess it doesn’t matter too much as long as people are out having fun. 9-midnight, free.

All Weekend Long

The closing weekend of Live on the Avenue features a Neil Diamond cover band Saturday. If Cracklin’ Rosie doesn’t get you moving, check your pulse, cuz you might dead. Friday is the Bay Area’s premier Zydeco band (a genre of Creole dance music from southwest Louisiana). Free.

Shows at Old Western Saloon in Point Reyes Station

Friday “Austin-based rockers White Denim bring their high-energy sound to the Old Western. Expect driving rhythms and electric stage presence in our favorite local dive bar.” And Saturday is my boy Mitch Polzak rockabilly and honky tonk. They usually do a $5-10 cover.

“Celebrating gypsy jazz and the musical legacy of DJANGO REINHARDT.” $45.

Saturday, September 27

Same local beer, wine, spirits, and cider along 4th Street. It’s mostly drinks, there will be some snacks, but you are encouraged to visit the nearby restaurants. 2-6, $35 online, $45 day-of.

A good ol’ New Orleans Jazz Band is in town. Jules is a big name who has played with the best musicians over his long career. 2-5, $15.

There are too many events to list, but if you have ever seen the social media updates by the ranger, she’ll be there (Hillary Colyer). I’m also bummed I didn’t get a ticket to hike to the east peak lookout, but it is on my radar now for next year. All day, free.

This is an all day music festival headlined by Cass McCombs and also featuring the West Marin Grateful Dead Appreciation Society. Music starts at 3, $45.

Calling all two little ducks and dancing queens. 5-7, 3 rounds for $10.

Sunday, September 28

There’s a bocce tournament too. 12-3, free admission.

Suppenküche is in charge of the food this week, which is a good thing. 11-6, free admission.

Tour the recycling facility, live music from discarded materials, and kids crafts out of trash. 9-2, free.

Sales and Auctions

I shared on Instagram a unique electric cart that was up for auction a few weeks ago. It supposedly came from Skywalker Ranch. Well it’s going back up for auction this weekend for some reason, check it out.
