It’s their 10th anniversary, so a good time to feature one of my favorites! I included this as an option in the most iconic Marin restaurant poll. It didn’t get many votes, probably because it isn’t an old-time Marin spot. But when I think of iconic Marin, either the bay or redwoods should be involved. This is a great spot to dine under the redwoods and excellent whether you are outdoors or indoors. See below for their 10th anniversary event!

Friday, October 24
Looking for a new experience? This one’s for you. Cinelounge is showing the movie “If I Had Legs I’d Kick You” and kicking it off with a collaboration with Rage Wellness. They “offer a bold and therapeutic space to smash, scream, and let go. No sign-up needed—just show up and bring your feelings. Bat included.” 2-7, unsure of price.
This outdoor movie is in Terra Linda Park and starts 10 minutes after sunset (6:30?). Free.
All Weekend Long
The Smith Rafael Film Center is showing this limited release film that is perfect for this spooky season. $15.
Saturday, October 25
Halloween is so kid focused, but what about our fur babies? This one features a pet costume contest. 1-3, free.
This is a jazz and blues show at the awesome Lark Theater. 7:30, $67.
More animals getting dressed up for Halloween: horses! Crafts, face-painting, and more. 10:30-1:30, $25 suggested donation.
Whether you road bike or mountain bike, this is a great charity ride to benefit people with spinal cord injuries. Many distance options, $100 for adults.
Sunday, October 26
There is a monthly classic and modern car meetup at the seaplane parking. This event will be geared toward kids with decorated frunks and trunks, music, hot dogs, and a costume contest. 8-noon, free.
Costumes encouraged for this walk, run, or stroll. There is a post race party afterwards with BBQ and live music. 10am, $35.
This is a dog costume contest at the Lumber Yard. The crowd gets to vote, which makes it fun! 10:30-11:30, free.
Want a trip outside of Marin?
Lit Crawl in SF! Not as in, “that’s so lit”… this is one of the most anticipated literary nights of the year, so they claim. Sounds like there are a ton of short talks to choose from at different bars in the Mission.
