Are you ready for another great weekend? Here is what is happening in Marin…

They recently took over the location of Indian Valley Brewing and I’m looking forward to giving it a try. It all started with a homebrewing habit that grew into something much bigger. But they still brew in small batches (1-5 kegs), which allows for frequent variations, like their pickle lager. They have food trucks and events, plus you can even walk from the SMART t,rain. Should Marin Buzz become a $1k founding member and throw a big party?

Bueller is a 10 year old career changer from Guide Dogs
Doggy finder: Bueller may be the brother of another yellow lab you featured on Marin Buzz months ago. Can you connect us with the other owner?
Does anyone remember that dog, and if it’s yours, please reply to this email.

Thursday, September 11
The band Soul Section will play some great funk and soul music. 6-9, free.
Friday, September 12
The band this week is the Treble Makers (reminds me of Here Comes Treble from The Office). 6-9, free.
It’s the last one of the year with BBQ ribs, potato salad, pound cake. 6pm, free.
Saturday, September 13
Someone looked at the Jazz by the Bay series and wanted to turn it up to 11. You can even rent half priced kayaks to listen from the water. 4pm, free.
There is a Goodfellas table read at 1 and an 8pm outdoor showing of “One Love”, the Bob Marley movie. Both are free. (This reminds me of a film festival I stumbled upon in New Zealand back when I was young: I saw a puppet show of Pulp Fiction!)
Are you disappointed there’s not more raves in Marin? Want to relive that trip to Europe when you stayed out so late jamming to house music? This is your chance. 7:30pm, $30.

Classy AF as the kids say. 4pm, free.
A music festival at the Mountain Theater! A bit on the pricey side at $138, but you are bound to have a great time.
5:30 is School of Rock and 7:30 is That Thing You Do! (I have long believed the song is the stickiest of all time (easiest to get stuck in your head).) Free.
Sunday, September 14
It’s come to my attention that some of you haven’t been to Rancho Nicasio for a BBQ on the Lawn. This is one of your final chances for the year and it’s music everyone loves. 4pm, $35.
History + hiking = ? See where the first European landed in California back in 1579. 10:30am, free.

I have long wanted to feature the Latte Art event by Equator Coffee, but it always sells out. One is coming up in San Anselmo on 9/20 for $55.
If You Want a Trip Outside Marin
There is a whiskey bar opening on Mare Island, Vallejo. There is a craft beer festival in Petaluma.

Final Days: Huge Discounts on EVs and Gas Models – Deals End Sept 30! Call Fairlane Auto Brokers Today!

Thinking about buying a car before the end of the year? EV incentives are scheduled to expire after September 30 due to policy changes that end the EV tax credits. Delaying your purchase could mean missing out on thousands of dollars in savings. Combined with dealer incentives and end-of-quarter discounts, now is the smartest time to act. Locking in a deal early ensures better selection, better pricing, and maximum rebate value.
