A Marin-Based Team Helping Local Businesses From Overpaying on POS & Credit Card Fees

Hi, we’re Shannon Ronan and Breelyn MacDonald — Marin locals, former business owners of Two Chicks Jerky, and Strategic Partnership Managers with CHIPP. After years of running our own business, we understand firsthand the challenges and costs that come with it.
Now, we are excited to be helping business owners with the systems they use everyday to take payments and run their business. We review setups, uncover hidden fees, help negotiate better rates, and find better-fit solutions - all with local support and a genuine desire to help our community thrive.
As a way of giving back, a portion of our proceeds will be donated to Marin Humane — an amazing non-profit organization we were happy to have worked with that is close to our hearts and doing meaningful work for animals and our local community.

A talented but financially shaky filmmaker took an assignment. He needed the work since his previous film had flopped. Little did Francis Ford Coppola know, his next project would be The Godfather, and change his life forever.
That’s how, before being named the director of The Godfather in September 1970, Coppola directed the music video for “Mill Valley.” They filmed at the 4th of July celebration and here’s the result:
Well, “music video” is a stretch. They were considered promotional film clips, just a few minutes of footage a record label would use to promote a single. Coppola was on Warner Brothers’ roster already and this represented a routine paycheck.
The song itself is a great story as well. Rita Abrams’ third-grade class at Strawberry Point Elementary School recorded it and it hit the Billboard Hot 100. She would go on to a career as a musician and win two Emmy awards.

$4.4M Historic Former Church in San Anselmo

A former church converted into a home is noteworthy. That’s the case here, but that’s just the beginning. It was a recording studio and has a connection to the invention of mountain biking as well!
In the 60s, 70s, and 80s, this home was a recording studio, “hosting renowned artists such as Van Morrison, Boz Scaggs, Jefferson Starship, and Huey Lewis, among many others.”
Those are certainly big names, but what’s the biggest name in music? The Beatles. You may know, their show at Candlestick Park in 1966 was their final ticketed concert. From the listing: “the downstairs bedroom once housed The Beatles' instrument storage ahead of their final San Francisco performance.”
The property includes the unique church, but a cottage in the backyard as well. The inventors of mountain biking, Gary Fisher and Charlie Kelly, lived there at the time.
What a unique home, check it out:
