Take the bite out of rising vet costs with pet insurance

Veterinarians across the country have reported pressure from corporate managers to prioritize profit. This incentivized higher patient turnover, increased testing, and upselling services. Pet insurance could help you offset some of these rising costs, with some providing up to 90% reimbursement.

It’s officially music in the park season. This weekend is most packed with exciting events, here are the highlights of what is happening in Marin:

This Irish Pub on 4th Street just opened in March and is very impressive. Great food and drinks, but even better atmosphere and people. We went recently and were curious how much they spent building it, and found an interesting full article on the process. Plus, they bought the old Fenix nightclub next door and are turning it into a concert venue, which I’m sure will be amazing.

Friday, June 6

This outdoor music series in Gabrielson Park kicks off this week at 6:30. Every Friday except July 4th.

If you swing dance, join two big names in western and boogie-woogie. $24 at the door.

All Weekend Long

Another free event along Grant Avenue in Novato. Great local vendors and food. Music headliners are Tainted Love Saturday (80s, I have seen them over a dozen times and highly recommend) and Aja Vu Sunday (Steely Dan & Chicago). Tip: take the train.

There is a free barn dance Saturday night and parade Sunday. Tons of great food options and even free ice cream!

Friday night outdoor movie (Flow) on the baseball field behind BofA, Saturday parade, Sunday live music, crafts fair, and flea market. So many great festivals this weekend!

Saturday, June 7

Come for the Battle of the Dad Bands and stay for the 15 breweries with unlimited tastings. Tickets are $120, but there is a non-drinker price of $28 (that even allows you to purchase drinks individually). That sounds like a much better deal. Starts at noon.

Sunday, June 8

Mill Valley will be busy in the morning, the race starts at 8.

This is at the Mog Asu wind bar we recently featured as Small Biz of the Week. 7-9, $50.

This one is squeezed into Menke Park at Tamalpais Dr and Magnolia Ave. 5-6:30.
